  环宇蓄电池放电后,可以用充电的方式使内部活性物质再生——把电能贮存为化学能;需求放电时再次把化学能转换为电能。将这类电池称为蓄电池,也称二次电池。所谓蓄电池即是储存化学能量,于必要时放出电能的一种电气化学设备。蓄电池是将化学能直接转化成电能的一种安装,是按可再充电设计的电池,经过可逆的化学反响完成再充电,通常是指铅酸蓄电池,它是电池中的一种,属于二次电池。它的工作原理:充电时应用外部的电能使内部活性物质再生,把电能贮存为化学能,需求放电时再次把化学能转换为电能输出,比方生活中常用的手机电池等。它用填满海绵状铅的铅基板栅(又称格子体)作负极,填满二氧化铅的铅基板栅作正极,并用密度1.26--1.33g/mlg/ml的稀硫酸作电解质。电池在放电时,金属铅是负极,发作氧化反响,生成硫酸铅;二氧化铅是正极,发作复原反响,生成硫酸铅。电池在用直流电充电时,两极分别生成单质铅和二氧化铅。移去电源后,它又恢复到放电前的状态,组成化学电池。铅蓄电池能重复充电、放电,它的单体电压是2V,电池是由一个或多个单体构成的电池组,简称蓄电池,最常见的是6V,其它还有2V、4V、8V、24V蓄电池。如汽车上用的蓄电池(俗称电瓶)是6个铅蓄电池串联成12V的电池组。目前现有蓄电池外壳构造强度不高,不具有散热效果,不容易装置和拆卸。
